CUTEness!!! They’ll sell. I thought of you yesterday when my friend and I were in a town in Buffalo, Minnesota, looking through shop after shop of things like this, mostly old stuff or repurposed stuff. Lots being snatched up and/or ladies taking photos with their phones to try at home( my friend). This town’s shops are only open ONCE A WEEK or on weekends only. The shops are called “occasionals”. Hard to find a good cup of coffee there, tho. They great you in their shops with big pots of free pot coffee that’s been sitting there awhile, but lovely, lovely people. These stories had your name all over them, girl!
P.S. Saw several lamp shades of many shapes and sizes with all the fabric gone and the bare shade frames draped with ribbons or strips of cool fabrics or………. See what you can come up with :0) Wish I’d taken some shots for you! Sorry! One had a chain mail looking “cover” around it, done with pieces of old sheet music/stunning papers/drilled beads or clear buttons, etc. GO!
Thanks for the great ideas, Kathy! My challenge in making and selling these is not spending more than I can make off them. I have done a couple of the “strip down” lamps which I love! Hugs to you, my friend!
These are sooo cool Jana! The top 3 are my favs. I love the shabby chic look!
Thanks, Peg! Hugs to you, my shabby little friend! 🙂
