It happened last night. The thing I have been waiting for months to be able to say.
I SUBMITTED MY FULLY EDITED MANUSCRIPT!!!!
I received my edits on Friday and all weekend I went through 317 pages line by line. After about 14 hours of intense concentration (yeah, imagine me doing THAT!) I hit the send button and breathed a sigh of relief. I had been terrified of losing the whole thing through some mishap on my part.
I learned a lot in this part of the process, both about writing and about what my computer can do when it’s set up in the edit mode. Cool stuff!
Now I wait. And once again pray over this whole thing. It’s been a great journey and as I have been writing about the hand of God (HANDled) I have seen it at work firsthand every step of the way. And I leave whatever happens with this project in that same hand.
Thank you for your support and encouragement in this. God uses my readers to inspire and motivate me. That’s you. So thanks….from the very bottom of my heart 🙂
Im so excited for and proud of you! I can’t wait until your book hits the shelves. It will touch so many people’s lives! Love ya!
Love you, too, girl! You’ll be here to help me open my first box of books, neighbor!
Jana, I can only imagine how thrilled, excited and anxious you must be: like an expectant mama! I am too, FOR you, no matter what happens or to what degree it happens, as well as only too honored to have been a part of looking in on your writing. Nothing has nor will be wasted! I applaud your surrender of your work to God. This is best!
Take good care and keep moving – – paralysis/stagnation is tempting, for me at least, while I’m waiting. :0) CONGRATULATIONS on all the editing hours, culminating in hitting the “SEND” button!
Loving you, praying for you, hoping with you. God is good all the time. All the time God is good. 🙂
