Cookies and Cream Fudge
2 1/4 cups white chocolate chips
+ 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, reserved
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
3 cups Oreo cookies, chopped (about 35 cookies)
1 Ttbsp vanilla extract
Directions:
- Combine 2 1/4 cups white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk and melt over low heat in a LARGE saucepan (you’ll be thankful for this when you add the Oreos) taking care to stir frequently and watch it so the mixture doesn’t burn. When mixture is melted and smooth, add vanilla extract.
- Mix in the chopped Oreo cookies. Pour mixture into 9 x 9 foil-lined or parchment-lined pan. Then lightly press 1/4 cup chocolate chips into the top layer. The fudge will start to set up fairly fast, just press the chocolate chips in lightly. Place fudge in fridge for at least two hours to fully set up.
- Remove from fridge, slice, and serve. Store extra in the freezer or fridge and it will likely keep for month(s). It most likely won’t stay in your house for more than a few days though
This is the original recipe, but I think I might change it up a bit for the Christmas party we are going to tonight and use Mint Oreos and mint chocolate chips in place of the chocolate chips and replace half of the white chocolate chips with semi-sweet chocolate chips. There could be so many variations now that there are so many kinds of chocolate chips and so many different flavors of Oreos! Have fun with it!
