My friend Becky passed me this recipe this week.  It is in the crock pot now for dinner tonight and the whole house is smelling delicious!  Can hardly wait to try it!  Thanks, Becky 🙂

Crock Pot French Dip

2-3 lb. chuck/pot roast

1 packet of dry onion soup mix

1 packet of dry au jus mix

1 cup (or so) of water

grated mozzarella

hoagie rolls

Mix the onion soup, au jus, and water in the crock pot.  Add roast.  Cover and cook on high for 5 hours.  When tender, pull meat with two forks to shred, and continue cooking on low for 1-2 hours.  Put finished meat on hoagie rolls and top with mozzarella cheese.  Easy, easy, easy, and I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be pretty dang delicious!
