Here’s a sweet idea for a little something different for  your Fourth of July BBQ!

SWEETLY GRILLED CHICKEN SANDWICH

4 King’s Hawaiian Sweet Sandwich Rolls

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 bottle teriyaki sauce

4 slices canned pineapple rings, drained

4 leaves green leaf lettuce

8 slices cooked bacon (I do it in the microwave)

4 slices swiss cheese

Marinate chicken for a couple hours in half of the teriyaki sauce in a big ziplock bag.

Grill chicken.  Baste with remaining teriyaki sauce while cooking.

Add sandwich rolls and pineapple slices to grill the last few minutes of cooking the chicken, turning once to lightly brown both sides.

On rolls, layer lettuce, pineapple ring, chicken, bacon and cheese.

I think I’ll serve these tomorrow with bbq potato chips and a fruit salad….and I’m already drooling…
