Today was filled with lots of goodbyes.  Lunch and dinner were spent with different women that I love and who have impacted my life here in Arizona.  Women that I will miss dearly, but will hold close even with the distance of moving.

Today I will share dinner with another group of women who have shared life with me and made my life a little more beautiful with their creativity, loving hearts and senses of humor.  There will be an ache in telling each and every one of these girls goodbye, but our hearts will forever be bonded.

Paul (Abby’s boyfriend) told me yesterday that I seemed so calm.  And I had to agree.  This process has so been from the hand of God in every way that it has been fairly easy to enjoy the journey and relish each step along the way.  Where I would normally be wanting to run ahead and “get there” and wish the waiting time away, I have come to savor each minute of the waiting, knowing that each moment has it’s own special flavor and scent, and I would be a fool to waste any of it.  This process has taught me valuable lessons in watching and waiting in wonder.  And I hope that as waiting time ends, that I will be changed for ever by what I have learned.

Thank you, Jesus, for my sweet Arizona friends.  Their love and support in my “desert experience” has been invaluable.  And thank you, sweet friends, for all that you have been and are to me.  You’ll always have a piece of my heart.  And you better come and visit me!!!!  Love, love, love you!!!! xoxoxoxoxo

Let's stay connected!

I promise to send some encouragement your way, and a bit of hope for the soul...
