Waiting to hear from the doctor at the hospital what the next step is for Janay. She is still there. They can’t tell if the cysts are malignant or benign, so she may have to have surgery. Please pray for her peace of mind and relief of pain in all of this.
Just brought Britt home from the oral surgeon. She was a little goofy coming out of the anesthesia. She was trying to tell me something but I couldn’t understand her. With a mouth full of gauze and slurred speech, there was no way to decipher her words. But she was persistent and started using sign language to tell me. She wanted to make sure that we thanked the doctor for her. Those were her first words coming out of the fog of anesthesia. So sweet. Her next words were, “How is Janay?” only it sounded more like, “Howwwwiithaanaaaaay?” I can’t even describe how my heart smyles when I have heard my girls in the past 24 hours asking about the welfare of others while in the hospital or coming out of surgery.
Adversity and lack of inhibition brings out who we really are, and I got another glimpse of the character of my girls and it brought tears to my eyes.
Heading to the hospital soon to see my girl. Pray that we have answers soon. Oh, also, tomorrow the people who are buying our house are coming over for a bbq. Pray that they feel loved and welcome in their new surroundings and that we just have a fun and relaxed time of getting to know them.
Hugs all over the place
