I am back in the land of the living!
I have had requests for two things:
1. A description of Mark’s new job – He is now head of Manager Training at the corporate office, which means that he gets to influence and teach the people that are becoming managers within the company from all over the country. He is amazing at what he does and is loving this opportunity to mentor people based on both the marketplace and his experience as a manager. They are loving that he is bringing a fresh set of eyes and a new perspective. He’s having a great time!
2. Pictures of the new house! Blake and I moved in on Monday (Mark left for Florida on Sunday). The movers came at 8:00 am on Monday and last night I emptied my last moving box. My goal? To have it all done before Mark got home this morning!
Mission accomplished! After three 15 hour days, I am ready to crash, but I love how everything turned out. This house welcomed our decor beautifully. Forgive the blurriness of the pictures. Apparently, I need to clean my lens! As always, pics don’t quite do justice to the feel, so you’ll have to come and visit in person to get the full effect!!!! 🙂
So there’s just a little info about why we’re here, what we’re doing and where we’re living! Accompanied by a huge invitation to please come and visit and enjoy the beauty of this part of the world with us! Thanks for sharing the process in getting here. Please pray with us now for the people whose lives we are meant to touch and who will come through the doors of this home. Jesus, do Your thing inside and outside of these walls!
I cannot believe you unpacked that quickly!! There’s still stuff that I haven’t unpacked from our LAST house in Oceanside! I’m super impressed. And it looks beautiful.
Thanks, Jennie. When I get on a roll I can’t stop ’til I’m done! You have to come see it in person! Would love to see your face back in your home state 🙂
Jana, it’s amazing!! All your pieces have found the perfect new home!! I simply cannot believe how quickly you were able to get it done!!!
I was a woman on a mission, Maria! And it just hit my wall and collapsed on the couch in a long awaited coma nap! Hugs to you, friend!
Jana, You new home looks amazing. I too, am amazed how you un-packed so fast. Now you can enjoy your day tomorrow and enjoy your new home! It looks wonderful. Congrats on the new home and welcome back to the west side. 🙂
Hope to talk really soon. 🙂
Thanks, Jana! (That still feels so weird to address someone with my own name!) I feel like I’m going to have to retrain my brain to rest after this whole process! So used to being on the go, go, go with preparations for selling, details on either end with a long distance move and then finally unpacking. I need to learn to “be still and know” all over again! Hugs to you, and thanks for the welcome back to the west!
Ahhh… beautiful Jana!
So happy for you all and seeing that Pleasanton is already living up to its name 😀
May God bless the people you meet and love on just as He always has done in the past. All of us who know you have a little “Jarvis Fairy Dust” on us- and it’s a good thing 🙂
Love you!
Carrie
Oh, Carrie, thank you 🙂 You guys HAVE to come down to wine country to see us and maybe take a tour and get some really good food! Grab Shelly and Mark and Mike and come on down the coast to see us! We would LOVE it! Hugs and love to you!
