What an amazing weekend in the East Bay of San Francisco! It was absolutely gorgeous. We looked at bunches of houses and our hearts were captured by two of them. I won’t give details here yet because making an offer does not guarantee getting the house in a market that allows for multiple offers. I don’t like this type of competition (the blind kind) but it’s another opportunity to trust God for His best for us. The right house in the right neighborhood in the right town.
The views were breathtaking, the food was amazing and these two particular homes had my name written all over them. I just hope that the selling agents can “see the writing (my name) on the wall” and accept our offer.
As I get ready to get on the plane home, I am trying to readjust my thinking from “shopping” to selling as I go home to put our house on the market tomorrow. I’m praying for patience, continued trust, and a loose grip on any expectations that I have regarding the time it takes to sell and the desire for the houses I fell in love with this weekend.
God’s got this. God’s got us. God’s got a plan.
And so I will take a deep breath and wait for Him…
You’re a great role model to me, Jana. Blessings as you wait on Him.

You’re sweet, but I tell you, I’m just writing as I’m learning. Seriously. It’s accountability for myself. If I put it out there, I have to remember it and live it out in the most real of ways. I knew when I wrote this that I would face a test on it today, and sure enough…had to put the fresh lesson to task! 🙂
