My heart’s been taken captive
No way that it can flee
My Captor holds on fiercely
His grip so tight ’round me
He’s said, “No one can snatch you
From my able hands”
Not life nor death, Not pain nor fear
Against my Captor stand
My heart’s been taken captive
By One so brave and kind
Who paid the costly ransom
And gave His life for mine
The price was paid, my soul was bought
He did it all for me
Amazing grace, so upside down
My Captor set me free
My heart’s been taken captive
By One who loves me so
He who holds me tight with such great love
Will never let me go….
