My mind has been dancing the past couple of days with ideas for my next book. With “HANDled” (the book I am currently in the process of publishing) in the final stages of editing with the publisher, my mind is running to start on a new project.
As I wrote on my last post, I am asking women to join me in this project. To share their stories of tragedy, hardship, poor choices, difficult circumstances and loss for the benefit of others. I have already heard from many women who want to be a part of this. And my stories will be in the mix, as well. I would never ask of others what I’m not willing to do myself. The stories will be anonymous, but real. And because they are real, I believe they can have huge impact in helping other women who are hurting and feel alone in their pain.
These will not just be sob stories to emote tears and the need for a big box of Kleenex. They will be stories of hope and inspiration. Survival and triumph.
I already have the title picked out – HEARTfelt. Similar to HANDled, it will have a double meaning. These will be heartfelt stories. But in each of these stories, we will see that our HEARTS were FELT by God Himself. He empathizes with our grief and pain. He feels it.
Again, (because I am crazy excited about this!) I am putting it out there for you girls to consider being a part of something that could help people you may never even meet. I have experienced the incredible thing that happens in my heart when my painful experiences have helped someone else in their struggle. I’d love for you to be able to experience that, too.
You don’t have to be a writer to do this. I will help you. But I want it to be YOUR voice coming through that shares from YOUR heart. Maybe your story has never been told. This is your chance for another step in your healing and the healing of others who read your words. No names. Just stories. And the joy of knowing that your pain was not in vain…
Please forgive my exuberance on this…my wheels just won’t stop spinning! Hugs to you today for even considering this!!!! (email again – francisjmamma@aol.com)
