I will go because You asked me
I will stay because You’re here
I will speak when words You give me
Stay silent so I’ll hear
Your voice I’ll tune my ear to
Your outstretched hand I’ll take
I’m ready for this journey
The sacrifice I’ll make
Just tell me You’ll speak loud enough
So I can know the way
So I won’t miss a syllable
Of what You do and say
There may be rocks along the path
I’m sure I’ll trip and fall
But You say You will lift me up
You’ll guide me through it all
Sometimes there will be shadows
When I can’t see the way
But as Your light reveals the path
Then on that path I’ll stay
And if the road is marked
With pain that would discourage
Remind me that You heal me
Supply my strength and courage
The twists and turns that mark the road
Will get me to that place
Where I can see Your purpose
Where I can feel Your grace
And when my feet get tired
When the journey seems too long
Please speak Your words of comfort
And give my heart a song
If others choose to join me
And walk along this way
Let me be Your words, Your hands
In all I do and say
The journey now before me
Is not meant to walk alone
So speak to me, show me Your hand
And make Your way my own…
Matthew 28:20 – And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Isaiah 6:8 – Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
Psalm 119:105 – Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
I love this so much! Yes Yes!
Thank you, sister! xoxoxo
