A while back I posted a recipe for BBQ chicken sandwiches. They were easy. But I have something even easier –
All you need is:
One pork butt
One liter of root beer
One bottle of bbq sauce
(Becky and I made up jokes about root “beer” and pork “butt”, but I’ll let you come up with your own….)
I poured Johnny’s seasoning salt all over the the pork. Then I put it in my crock pot, poured the root beer over and put on the lid. Cook on low for 6-8 hours and forget about it and go about your day.
When you come home your house will smell like scrumptiousness and dinner will be ready…almost. Now take your butt (hehe) out of the crock pot and pour the bbq sauce over it, tearing it up with a couple forks. Put on buns and be amazed. Be very amazed. Soooooo good. Not even kidding.
