Here’s an easy one that we made last night to share with our neighbors for 4th of July –

EASIEST ICE CREAM CAKE

19 ice cream sandwiches

1 big tub of Cool Whip

1 can Hershey’s chocolate syrup

3/4 cup peanut butter

2 cups dry roasted peanuts

Heat up Hershey syrup in microwave for about 2 minutes.  Remove and mix with 3/4 cup peanut butter.  Let cool to room temperature.

Spray Pam cooking spray on the bottom of a 9×13 pan.  Lay 9 1/2 ice cream sandwiches in the bottom of pan.  Spread with 1/2 of Cool Whip. Cover with half of chocolate/peanut butter mixture.  Sprinkle with half of dry roasted peanuts.  Do exact same layering again on top…. Put in freezer to set for about 2 hours.  Cut into squares.  Easy and delicious!
