I tried a new recipe yesterday for a cake that I served to my friends who came to hear about Janay’s trip last night. Oh. My. Gosh. Soooooooooo good! Rich and moist and incredible….Seriously. You just gotta try it!
I took the recipe and added my own stuff to it (including the name) –
OMG! CAKE –
1 package chocolate fudge cake mix
1 – 3.9 oz. package instant chocolate fudge pudding mix
1 – 16 oz. container sour cream (NOT lite!)
3 eggs
1/2 cup hot water mixed with 3 Tbsp. instant coffee
1/2 jar of Hershey’s hot fudge sauce
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 10 inch bundt pan.
Combine all ingredients and spoon into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for one hour or until cake springs back when lightly tapped. Cool 10 minutes in pan, upside down on a plate. Then turn out and cool.
Frosting –
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
4 cups powdered sugar
dash of salt
Enough milk to get to desired consistency
Frost cooled cake. You will NOT be able to stop at one piece, guaranteed!
