Good morning, friend! Are you ready for a new day? I was wondering if we could spend some time together today. I’ve been missing you. I know you’ve been busy, but I miss our talks and our times of just hanging out. I’d love to help you with all those things you have on your list to do today. All those errands to run and people to see. I’d love to go to work with you and help make your day a little easier and brighter. I wouldn’t bug you, I promise. I would just hope to occasionally catch your eye so you could know that you aren’t alone in your day. I just want to make your load a little lighter. With all the busyness and responsibility you carry comes the inevitable stress. I’d love for you to use me as your sounding board and vent your frustrations to me. I can take it. It’s easy because I love you. I’m a good listener. And if you ask, I’ll give you some pointers that might help your situation. And all those people in your life – friends, family and acquaintances? Easy and difficult people? I’m a people person and I’d love to meet the people you know and love. It would be great if you would introduce me. I’d love to be a part of the conversations and interactions that you have with them. I so enjoy watching and being a part of your world. You’ve got such amazing gifts and talents. It would be so fun to share those with you. To see you do what you were created to do and fully enjoy it. I would be there to cheer you on and to encourage you to delve a little deeper into those things and watch them change your life and the lives of others. And every time you do what you do so well, I would celebrate with you. Wouldn’t that be great? I’m a pretty good exercise buddy, too. Any kind of exercise. Whether it’s in the gym or exercising your mind or soul. When you think you can’t go any further or take any more, I’d take your hand and say, “Come on! We can do this thing!” And we would. Together. Emotions don’t scare me. So whether the day brings tears or laughter, I will either cry or laugh with you. Or anything in between. That’s what friends do. Weather life together through thick and thin. I have two great ears and a great set of shoulders. And when our glorious day together is done, and you’re ready for a good night’s rest, I would read with you just for the fun of it. Just to rest and reflect and relax. And when your eyes have closed and you’re drifting off to sleep, I will remind you that I will be right there again in the morning, ready for another day and another new adventure together. I love you, friend. I miss you. Let me know when you’re ready to spend a day like that and I’ll already be there with a huge grin on my face. I promise…, Jesus
