Jane’s Ginger Cookies (changed a little, so now Jana’s Ginger Cookies!)
Mix together:
2/3 cup vegetable oil
1 1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
4 Tbsp. molasses
Add:
2 cups flour
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
Refrigerate dough for one hour. Roll in balls and then roll in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Your entire house will smell warm and cozy and spicy! And your mouth and tummy will thank you!
