Tonight I got the chance to talk with my grandma again.  Once again, we shared good conversation, hilarious laughter and a renewed knowledge of how similar we are.  She told me tonight that she found a picture of the four generations starting with her great-grandmother (my great, great, great-grandmother), her grandmother, her mother and her brother who was a baby at the time.  My grandma wasn’t even a twinkle in great-grandpa’s eye yet.    The oldest woman in the picture is the one who wrote the poem  that I put here on the blog a few months back.  She is going to send me the picture, and I hope to post a copy of it here.  She is still looking for the hundreds of poems and writings that this woman, my great, great, great-grandmother, penned.  And when she finds them, I will be doing the happy dance of joy and delight…

Grandma, thanks for bringing smiles and laughter to my life.  You continue to inspire and motivate me and give me great hope for my future.  God still uses you in incredible ways at 91 years old.  I can only hope that He chooses to do the same in me…. I love you…

Let's stay connected!

I promise to send some encouragement your way, and a bit of hope for the soul...

xo, jana
