Worked at the concession stand at our basketball game last night.  Here is a recipe for the peanut butter brownies I made.  They are delicious, moist and rich!  (Tip for the day – if you want to make a recipe a little richer and moister, use brown sugar in place of white…that’s what I did in this one.) This is my own version of a recipe you can find on the back of  Nestle Milk Chocolate Morsels.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudgey Brownies (I renamed them, because this is what describes them best)

1 cup creamy peanut butter

6 Tbsp. butter softened

1 1/4 cups BROWN sugar

3 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

1 cup flour

1/4 tsp. salt

2 cups milk chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350

Mix all ingredients (they have a fancy way of mixing things a certain way, but seriously, it’s all getting mixed together any way, right???) Spread into 9×13 pan.  Bake for 25-30 minutes.  Cut into bars.  Bet you can’t eat just one!!!

Oh, and the game was crazy!  We lost in the last two seconds of double overtime to our biggest rival – a great accomplishment since we are a new school and have no senior class this year.  Huge crowd and loud fans!  A tough loss for the boys but very exciting…

Let's stay connected!

I promise to send some encouragement your way, and a bit of hope for the soul...
