At starbucks again tonight as our internet will not be installed until next Tuesday now. Wow! No tv or internet for another week…whatever will I do?
My heart is aching a bit tonight. Mark and my mom both left on planes today. It suddenly hit me how far away I am. The past few days have been so full of unpacking and decorating and having a blast with my mom that I had no time for sad thoughts. Until tonight…
Fortunately, Abby is here with Blake and I now. Yay! Please pray that God will provide them with amazing Christian friends here as soon as possible. So important in so many ways. I know that God desires that for them as well, so it will be fun to watch and see how God answers.
Joined a gym, made a new “friend” at Home Depot and found the local Starbucks, Walmart, Target and Michaels. A decent start. But it will be good to find a church home and people to do life with. I love the cows, but they are not great conversationalists. 🙂
Hugs and love from the big CO!
Hey Jana!
I hope things continue to go smoothly! All the pictures are awesome! You have such a blessing for design! I absolutely love Church of the Rock in Castle Rock. It’s about 20 minutes away from Parker, but I gotta tell you it is so amazing. The pastor seeks to create relationships with as many attendees as possible and the people there are also extraordinary. My in-laws go there and they would be great people who could help you and the fam get connected. They have such a great family atmosphere! Jeff and I always have to go to a service when we’re out there! Anyways, maybe check it out and see what you think. It truly is amazing. Jeff and I should be up in August and maybe then we’ll get to see you and the fam (even though not long ago we lived only 30 mins from each other) :).
Have a great evening! Please tell Blake and Abby I say hello! *Congrats on Britt’s engagement as well! I’m sure you both will have a blast with wedding planning!
Thanks,
Marlee
