Yesterday I got to spend a little time with my friends Kristen and Dayle. A few weeks ago we staged/redid Kristen’s family, kitchen and living room. Yesterday we picked up where we left off and did the den and guest bedroom. We had an absolute blast! She had some great pieces to work with so we basically simplified, eliminated and rearranged what she already had. Then, she and I went to a wonderland that I had not yet discovered. A land where creativity loses all control. A place where I could (and did!) get lost for hours. It’s name? Hobby Lobby. Ridiculous name, I know, but it makes up for it inside. Wow! Like Michaels on steroids! Incredible. I made sure before I left that they do, indeed, have one in Denver.
Thanks for a great day, Kristen! I am amazed that you just let me come into your home and have my way with your things. Crazy fun!
Anyone else out there who would be will to let me practice on their home???? Heading to Janay’s tonight to paint her armoire and to another friend’s on Friday to work on her master bedroom. Yippee Skippee!!!!
