Just got off the phone with my brother and then my mom and dad who were all together today at Cafe Messina, my niece’s new sandwich shop in Tacoma, Washington, where they were celebrating my dad’s 70th birthday. I would have loved to have been there and was supposed to be, but had the wedding last night and couldn’t get away this weekend. If only I could be in more than one place at a time…Love you, dad, so very much and hope that you just know how much you are loved and celebrated today, both there and here.
