Today was a mixture of sweet and salty…smyles and tears. I sent off my precious friends Billy and Terra and their kids to Portland for their new ministry adventure. It is going to be such a good fit for them, which makes me completely thrilled for them. But the thought of my “soul sistah” friend being so far away, breaks my heart. We only met about eight months ago, but became quick and close friends, sharing so much in such a short time. And I wouldn’t change a thing. Do I ache? Yes. But do I just know that they are heading to exactly where God has so obviously led them? Absolutely! And will they remain as close to my heart as they are right now? No. My heart will love them even more every day. Because love and friendship are bigger than distance, stronger than time and only increase in beauty with age. So hugs to you, my sweet Terra. I love you to the moon and back and can hardly wait to hear all your new stories!!!! Love, love, love you!
