I stand amazed
Goose bumps on my arms
Seeing You so clearly at work
The hair on the back of my neck standing straight up
Because what You’re doing is too crazy good
How you’re moving is beyond what I can understand
That You would choose to be so good to us
Baffles me completely
I can’t get this silly grin off my face
Sheer joy mixed with a little bit of sheepishness
Feeling unworthy of such blessing
Pouring all over us
After a season of drought
I spread out my arms
Mouth open towards the sky
Drinking it all in
Feeling every drop of refreshment
Watching in wonder as You also plant huge kisses on those around me
Those I love
And I cry
Tears of joy that say, truly Your mercies ARE new every morning
Undeserved
Unwarranted
Unending
Thanks is not enough
My praise feels puny
My words fall short
So with this ridiculous grin on my face
I will sing and shout and write of Your goodness, Your love, Your grace
Every day of my life.
